The tour starts at 8:30 AM by meeting you up at the office for a friendly chat and a cup of coffee (included).
Your journey begins with a scenic boat ride upstream along the Nam Ou River. Arrive at Ban Muang Ngoi, where your guide will take you through the village. Get a real feel of local culture, daily life, and hidden stories that most visitors never see. Then hike to the historic cave and continue to a breathtaking overlooking the valley. After that, enjoy a short boat ride to Ban Sop Kong, and begin a peaceful trek through rice paddies (seasonal) to the Tad Mok Waterfall. Cool off with a swim in the natural pool and enjoy a delicious picnic lunch right here (vegetarian avail-able). Finally paddle back to Nong Khiaw by kayak, surrounded by stunning mountains and gentle river views. A perfect mix of culture, trekking, waterfalls, and kayaking all in one day.
