Visit M. NGOI - Sop Jaem

Day 1: Your trip starts 8:00 AM by meeting up at the office or pick up at your hotel in Nonkhiaw. Then take a long boat ride upstream on the Nam Ou River for 50 minutes to Ban Sop Kong. Begin a trek through rice paddies, valleys, and mountain slopes until arriving at a refreshing waterfall. Cool off by taking a swim in the natural pool. Afterward returning to the river bank and have your lunch. After lunch, take aboat ride for 30 minutes to Muang Ngoi, here, you will have
time to explore cave, viewpoint, and meet up with local people. Following this, you will take a short boat ride up the nam ou river to taking in the incredible scenery and limestone mountain views until arrive at Ban Sopjem. In the late evening, enjoy learning how to make bamboo handicrafts with the older men who have great experience in the village. At night, join the MaMa cooking class and have dinner. Here you will indulge with local Lao foods and Ofcourse also local Lao Lao whiskey!!. Stay overnight at the homestay here.

DAY 2: After breakfast and coffee, begin the big jungle trek for 3-4 hours

through the bamboo tree jungle, whilst admiring the breathtaking mountain scenery. You will be able to hear the sounds of wild animals or if you are lucky you can see the wild animals for yourself!! Next you will be arriving on the Nam Ou River and your guide will find a nice spot to enjoy your final local lunch, after lunch we will find a relaxing place to swim then take a slow boat down the river for 1 hour and 30 minutes after changing in to the kayaks for 1 hour more downstream. Enjoy kayaking along the scenic Nam Ou River back to Nongkhiaw by 5:00PM!
